THE NOGARAZZA

The old Trattoria Nogarazza is situated on the Retrone river in the S.Agostino valley, and is surrounded by the beautiful Colli Berici.

Established at the end last century as a beckery, and than as an inn, it became famous during the period between the two wars as a meeting place for Vicentino artists and poets.

It has been run for three generations by the Bari family who, in 1992, renovated and enlarged the rooms; all in excellent taste and style, and fully respecting the traditional old structures. There is a large room available for banquets and meetings, and also a restaurant-dining room plus an open-air terace. All rooms are Air-conditioned.

The food prepared is in the true Vicentino tradition, with such dishes as "baccalà", an important local dish. There is always home-made pasta on the menu, in addition to many regional Veneto recipes, prepared in a truly testeful manner.

Lastly, to enliven the tables, delicious bread baked in the old oven, and a rich wine-list.
For those who wish to stay, even for short periods, "residence" rooms are available with cooking facilities,
small living room, bathroom, telephone, TV, frigobar and garage.

The Trattoria Nogarazza is only a few kilometres from the centre of Vicenza, and is near the Vicenza

Ovest motorway exit and the Trade-Fair zone.

With its specially furnished rooms, complete with all facilities, the Trattoria Nogarazza is also a place for meetings and business lunches.
